Andrea Huffman, of Cleveland, Ohio, was recently arrested for tying up her 8 year-old with Duct Tape. Her 15 year-old son called 911 and said, "My little brother is downstairs tied up to a table and he's trying to get out." Huffman's daughter told the police she would get beat if she didn't subdue her brother on a nightly basis. All nine children found living inside the home were placed in foster care.
Sheila Radziewicz is preparing to test for her black belt in taekwondo even though she was born without arms or kneecaps. The 32 year-old, who has thrombocytopenia-absent radius, or TAR syndrome, has been training for three years. Radziewicz also drives with her feet.
A 15-year-old Norwegian student was recently killed on a school field trip. His double decker school bus was speeding down a highway at 70 mph when he stuck his head out the window and struck an overpass. The student was airlifted to a hospital in Oslo where he declared dead on arrival.
