The Pennsylvania State Police recently arrested an Amish man for driving his horse and buggy while drunk. Elmer Stoltzfoos Fisher was sound asleep as his buggy straddled the center line in East Lampeter Township. Quarryville police officer Jesse Blank was driving home when he and his friend got out and stopped the horse. His friend pounded on the buggy door until Fisher woke up. A breath test showed his alcohol level at 0.18 percent.
A 34 year-old Pascagoula, Mississippi man was recently arrested for driving while under the influence. The unidentified suspect got drunk before he wandered into his neighbor's home and fell asleep on their couch. They told him to leave after they found him cuddling a teddy bear. The drunk then took off in his Silverado before mowing down some mailboxes.
