The Maryland police are looking for two men who stole a $2,300 television from Circuit City. Cops say the thieves casually walked out with the 67-inch Samsung before a clerk asked if they needed extra string to tie down the TV. One of the suspects answered yes before the employee went inside and he took off with his friend.
Nikolai Grushevski is suing Hooters because they failed to hire him as a server. He applied at a Corpus Christi restaurant before a manager told him Hooters only hires female servers. Mike McNeil, vice president of marketing for Hooters, says, "The good news is that when this happened the last time, Hooters benefited from an avalanche of positive publicity and public support for keeping Hooters Girls.
