Officials estimate that load of pot has a street value of nearly $3 million. The driver, a Mexican man, faces federal prosecution.
An Ohio woman who called 911 from the trunk of her car told officers she had accidentally trapped herself in the rear of the vehicle. Ravenna police officers responded to a 911 call placed by the woman Wednesday. They freed her from the trunk of her Pontiac Sunfire. She said she had accidentally closed herself in the trunk. The vehicle had been parked in front of a Subway restaurant with the doors open and the keys in the ignition.
