Police in Sarasota, Florida, said a gas station employee used a screwdriver to chase away an armed robber. When he man, armed with a handgun, confronted the clerk at the Hess station around 2:30 a.m. yesterday morning, the clerk challenged him with a screwdriver. The man fled without taking any cash. Police are searching for the would-be robber.
