A Saudi man recently divorced his wife by sending 3 text messages that all read: "I divorce you." Under Saudi Arabia's Islamic Sharia law, a man can divorce his wife simply by saying "I divorce you" three times. After the text message, the man called two of his relatives to confirm the divorce. A court later confirmed the split.

A 20 year-old Australian and his friends were drinking on the banks of a crocodile-infested waterway on Saturday when he decided to swim across the water to get more beer. He disappeared just minutes after getting into the water. His remains were found a short while later. The crocodile that is believed to have killed the man was destroyed.

A Berlin woman is recovering from being mauled by a polar bear. She jumped into the bear cage at a German zoo before swimming around with the animals. One of the beasts bit her on the butt as zookeepers were hauling to safety up the side of a wall.
