The Pontiac, Illinois police arrested Jerrie Perkins after her motorized cart got stuck as she tried to shoplift from a Meijer grocery store. The 30 year-old, who is 5'2" and weighs 400 pounds, stuffed her cart with $600 worth of goods before trying to leave without paying. When the door alarm sounded, she couldn't produce a receipt and shoved a loss prevention officer. When Perkins challenged a deputy, he tased her and placed her under arrest.
A Thai couple set a new world record yesterday by kissing for 46 hours, 24 minutes and nine seconds. The previous record of 32 hours was set in 2009 by a couple in Germany. Ekkachai and Laksana Tiranarat took home a diamond ring worth $1,606 and $3,213 in cash. The couple could not sit or sleep and had to drink through a straw while kissing.
