The Pittsburgh, PA police recently arrested William Edward Maser for firing a cannonball into his neighbor's home. The 54 year-old was using his French and Indian War replica cannon when the two pound ball went wayward and crashed through his neighbor's window and closet wall. No one was injured. Maser participates in battle re-enactments, has been charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and disorderly conflict.
Some Sydney, Australia parents are using marijuana to keep their kids calm. Clinical psychologist Michael Kirton says, "We are seeing six-year-olds being given bongs by their families to keep them quiet, stop them crying, or put them to sleep. Our counselors see it being used more and more as a way for families to control the kids and make life easier for the parents."
