On Monday, someone stole a tractor trailer containing $80,000 worth of Anheuser Busch beer. William Roche parked his tractor-trailer at 484 Tires Services in Ocala after filling it with beer at the Anheuser Busch facility in Jacksonville.When he went to pick up his truck it and the trailer were missing. The Opalocka police found the empty truck later in the day. The suds were gone.
The Statesville, North Carolina police arrested an 83-year-old Wal-Mart greeter after he robbed the store he works at. George Plane Jr. clocked out at 7 p.m. on Sunday before going to his car and donning a disguise. He then approached a garden center employee, pointed a gun at the worker and demanded money from the cash register. Police say Plane fired one shot before fleeing. They caught him a short while later.
