What the Hell Theatre - 6/3

The South Carolina funeral board has revoked Cave Funeral Services' license because funeral director Michael Cave cut the legs of a 6'7" man so his corpse would fit in a casket. James Hines' body was exhumed earlier this year after his widow told investigators that his legs had been cut off between the ankle and calf to fit the coffin.

A 17 year-old student from a Purdy, Washington High School was arrested yesterday for smoking marijuana in class. The junior was giving a speech on weed when he started smoking in front of the class. When he was done, he ate the joint and sat back down. He was arrested a short time later and has a 3.7 grade-point average.

A 30 year-old Chinese man is recovering from having his hand ripped off in a game of Tug of War. He and 100 others were competing in a beach competition when he wrapped the rope around his wrist and threw the loose end over his shoulder. His match was heading for a draw when members of the audience started helping both teams to try to win. The match was stopped when the victim's hand got caught and severed. He was rushed to the Guangzhou Harmony Hand Hospital where his hand was reattached in a five hour operation.

A triple-murder suspect was recently arrested after leaving his cell phone at the scene of a crime. Anthony Ramirez broke into a San Francisco home before its owner chased him out. He later called his cell phone after realizing it was missing. Officer Uri Nieves answered it and set up a meet with Ramirez, who was arrested after a short chase. The 23 year-old was driving a stolen Nissan, which contained guns that were used in previous crimes and murders.

The Chilean police recently arrested a 26 year-old woman for carrying a suitcase made of cocaine. Detectives say the luggage was molded by mixing coke, resin and glass fiber. Once the woman arrived in Spain, a "chemical process" was going to be used to separate out the drug.
