Assistant Principal Scott Galen says the order was a mistake and was made because of a lack of funds. "Unfortunately, this year the junior class didn't have quite as much money." The girls who attended last year's prom got a picture frame; while the boys received a money clip.
A married math teacher from Florida's Haines City High School was recently arrested after he declared his love for one of his students on his My Space page. Allen Guerin posted a message that claimed he was falling in love with his favorite 16-year-old student. His wife called the police after reading his posting. Alan had sex with the girl and sent her 600 text messages over Christmas break.
